Use the check boxes to decide which items to include, or exclude from, your Start menu. Placing a check mark in the box will place that item on the Start menu. To remove an item from your Start menu, uncheck the box next to it.

The items which you can tweak are:

  • Favorites: Add Internet Explorer Favorites to, or remove them from, your Start menu.
  • History: Add Internet Explorer History to, or remove it from, your Start menu.
  • Log Off User: Add or remove the option to Log Off the current user.
  • Subscriptions: Add or remove your Internet Explorer subscriptions from your Start menu.
  • Links in Favorites: Add or remove the "Links" folder which appears in your list of Favorites.
  • Scroll Start Menu Programs: If you have a lot of items on your Start menu and are running Internet Explorer 4 or 5, the default behavior is for the Start menu items to be in one line with arrows at the top and bottom of the column, forcing you to scroll through them. If you uncheck "scroll start menu programs," your Start menu will bring up all the items side-by-side in columns.
